WHO IS GERHARD PETZL?
Hi, I'm Gerhard — an Austrian food innovator, Master Chocolatier and Pastry Chef. As my friends would say, I'm also someone who takes what’s in his glass very seriously.
I spent nearly a decade in Research & Development at the world's largest food manufacturer, working across chocolate and nutrition innovation. For more than 20 years, I have also worked as a Consultant, Entrepreneur, Master Chocolatier and Pastry Chef across Europe, the United States, Asia and Australia.
Along the way, I was fortunate to receive several accolades, including a Culinary Olympics Gold Medal, WACS Global Master Chef certification, as well as numerous awards and international medals.
But the thing that has always motivated me was never the trophies.
It was the pursuit of one simple belief: ingredients can be both good for you and great to taste.
When I looked at the world of non-alcoholic, healthy and great-tasting drinks, I saw shelf after shelf filled with sugary, artificially flavoured vitamin waters, highly caffeinated energy drinks and sports drinks with a chemical taste.
After a lifetime spent understanding exactly what goes into food and why it matters, I knew someone had to do better.
So, I decided to build it myself.
THAT'S PLASH.
A premium mocktail made with real flavour and fruit juices, clean electrolytes and absolutely none of the unnecessary stuff.
I created PLASH because I wanted a daily drink that I could genuinely feel good about — something delicious, refreshing and made with ingredients I could trust.
